Following the devastating floods of December 2015 Down-a-gate Community Centre in the village of Warwick Bridge is in need of a full rebuild. If the area floods again we want to ensure that our centre avoids total destruction - by raising the floor level of the main function room to a safe height above the water.

Many community groups use the centre, including toddler groups, the local history group, gardening club, the local school and pensioner groups. The centre has also been used by local residents to hold private parties. The pitches and centre are also regularly used by local football teams.

Down-a-gate was built by locals many years ago, we would like to see those people using the centre once again. Together we can build a centre for the local community to be proud of. Even if every person gave just £1 this would raise a huge amount of money! Every penny counts. Thank you for your support.
