22 wonderful colleagues will be training and competing in a Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 23rd September 2023. For many of us this will be the first time that we have been in a Dragon Boat, we know it will be a very physical challenge for us.

We are joining the race to raise funds in support of two brilliant charities:

Manchester Outdoor Education Trust who are organising the Dragon Boat Race. MOET believe that outdoor adventurous activities and outdoor learning offer young people a multitude of benefits that extend far beyond the boundaries of conventional education. Engaging in such activities not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters personal growth, social development, and cognitive skills. Olympias Music Foundation have also been chosen as a way of honouring our colleague Sam who passed away earlier this year. Sam was super excited to participate in the boat race. Olympias Music Foundation are an award-winning music education charity offering free, sustained, high-quality instrumental lessons to young people, and music participation projects for diverse communities in Manchester.
