A group of 6 staff are taking 27 Air Cadets to South Africa in August 2017. We are taking young people out into the mountains where they can learn about the culture and environment that surrounds them and provide them with a unique learning and developmental opportunity at a crucial stage of their lives. Throughout our visit we shall also be initiating some project work at the local schools, including creating a music centre and re-decorating the old and tired school hall and classrooms. The cadets themselves will also be fundraising and all the ideas are their own and will be supported and accommodated by staff as much as possible. We really want this trip to make a difference; not only for the people in the local South African communities but also for the young people that are enduring this 3 week enxpedition. Any funding available to us will make a difference and try and help us achieve everything we want to out there to truly make a difference!! get giving!!
