I've raised £2000 to support Eltham Hill School and Solace Women's Aid

The team at Eltham Hill are always up for a challenge and in June 2024 we're undertaking our most physical challenge yet. Thirty nine intrepid walkers will attempt to summit the highest peak in Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1345m), the highest peak in England (Scafell Pike - 978m) and the highest peak in Wales (Snowdon - 1085m) in just 24 hours. That's approximately 24 miles of mountain walking. Supported by 4 fearless drivers, boundless enthusiasm and many, many snacks our journey across mainland UK starts here...
And as much joy as this will no doubt bring us, we're also doing it to raise money for those in need. With the current cost of living crisis we know things are tough for people in our Eltham Hill community as well as those in the wider area. So we're raising funds for the people at the heart of our school community: the students themselves. 50% of all funds raised will go back into the school to ensure we can provide the best possible education and enrichment for our students. The other 50% will go towards helping women and young people in our wider community receive help and support when it matters the most. Solace Women's Aid is a London-based support and advice charity that helps women and young people who are victims of abuse: https://www.solacewomensaid.org/
Please give as much as you can - every penny raised will make a difference.
