    Story

Like all social workers around the world, those affiliated with Edge Hill University are dismayed and appalled by the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and others being affected by the illegal invasion and subsequent humanitarian crisis. We are raising money to support the Ukrainian people and others displaced by the crisis. Please help our cause and show the Ukrainian people that we stand with them in their time of need. #StandWithUkraine

Hi all, I will be closing this Ukraine appeal in the next day or two. Following input from the students at Edge Hill University, the money will be split four ways between Unicef; British Red Cross; and Save the Children Ukraine appeals; as well as a donation to Lancashire County Council's Refugee Integration Team. In addition the collected items of toiletries, sanitary products, first aid kits etc will be delivered to Maghull Chapel in the coming days. Thanks again to all of you who have donated Best wishes and as always Slava Ukraini! Ciaran

Hello comrades, Slava Ukraini! Thanks for contributing to our fundraising campaign. We are over 75% to our target and I wanted to ask that we continue to spread the word, in the hope that we might attain the £2,022 figure. Thanks and best wishes. Ciaran

Hi all, Thank you for the generous donations. We are half way to our target with a week to go before our 'day of reflection, discussion and action in solidarity with the people of Ukraine'. All proceeds will be going to the DEC appeal. Could I ask that you continue to share and spread the word in your own networks, so that we might achieve our target by deadline. Thank you and Slava Ukraini! Ciaran
