Throughout my life, from day one, I've have seen people hurt, seen people struggle, and seen so many people give up, and fail at the first hurdle. With both parents disabled and a younger sister severely disabled, I have seen all aspects of the barriers that people have to break through just to live a fraction of a normal life.
As life when on, seeing my family battle trials after trails of life, learning how to live with their disabilities, learning how to cope with the challenges that faced them with even the most mundane tasks.
I met and learned to respect so many youngsters and adults, throughout my life so far, that face everything face on, even when life threw every thing at them, they still had a smile.....

In comparison, my early life, fitness wise was great, although I spent so much of my early life caring for my family, I still managed to find my own haven and escape in sport. From sailing through my teens to football later on I have always found sport as the ultimate therapy.

Now the tables turned, and due to unfortunate circumstances, I have been left disabled myself..... And know the feeling personally of not being able to play.... I want to change this and bring a disability football foundation to the new forest .... this will be for everyone with a disability of any kind.... physical... mental.... even those who just need somewhere to go...the foundation will also be designing new games based around football for those with walking aids. Wheeling aids etc.
This is going to eventually lead Into me starting 3 brand new football teams based out of brockenhurst, to compete in the newly formed county league and countrywide competitions.... I will also be looking for outstanding players who have overcome there disability. To represent the country at a much higher level....
