Our fundraiser, cycling from John O Groats to Lands End, will raise funds for Eddie’s Street Cuts and our 2 chosen charities.

Eddie’s Street Cuts is a community project that has been in action now for over 7 years. ESC offers haircuts to the homeless community on the streets in Bath and Bristol, often working with Off The Record and BOSH. Wherever Eddie goes his scissors go with him even on this cycle across the country Eddie will give a haircut or two to the homeless. He has cut hair on the streets all over the world making such a difference to people’s lives both internally and externally.

About the other and charities.

BOSH provides bespoke support & advocacy to rough sleepers & the vulnerably housed from the hub based in central Bristol. The hub is a safe space for clients to access food, computers, mobile phone charging, welfare benefit advice, housing referrals, one to one talking therapies, floating support, advocacy in court and on behalf of clients with statutory agencies. Art groups, haircuts with ESC - Eddies Street Cuts, blood pressure testing, covid/flu vaccinations, hep C testing & working with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients

Off the Record Bath and Northeast Somerset (OTR) improves the emotional health and wellbeing of young people. They provide a range of free services for anyone aged 10-25 living, working or studying in BaNES, including counselling, listening support, youth participation, advocacy, support for care leavers and LGBTQ+ focused youth groups. OTR is marking its 30th anniversary with the Young Futures appeal, reaching out to underrepresented young people and empowering them to thrive. Your donation will help this local charity to provide 1:1 listening support and counselling to the young people who need it most in our community.
