Please donate* to support our branch to deliver local campaigning. We do not receive any funding from membership fees to carry out local campaigning activities.

Your donation will be used to pay for our work on local issues such as making sure affordable housing features in the developers plans for the proposed Blackberry Hill development. Every year, we need to raise the funding to support the work of our Councillors in sustaining a programme of annual campaigning.

We have to raise a minimum of £700 (ideally we need £1,000 annually), which gets spent on:
> £150: paying for room hire for regular branch meetings to plan activities
> £200: to support Councillors' surgeries where local people can raise concerns directly with the Councillors
> £350: for leaflets raising awareness of local issues and campaigns.

*It was free to set up the Crowdfunding Page, however in order to use this service there are fees, which are taken from your donations. We decided to try this as a test, as it seems quick and easy for people who want to give as well as for us to administer. The fees amount to 5% of each donation and card charges (1.3% credit card, 16p debit card). For all online transactions, credit card companies take a 1.3% fee and debit card companies charge a flat rate (17p for Visa debit cards and 16p for Mastercard debit cards).
