ElephantsWorld is a sanctuary for rescued elephants, established in 2008, located in Thailand. Here, the elephants are given a wide open space in which to roam, and are carefully looked after by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Unfortunately, the land on which ElephantsWorld is located is leased, and the owner now wants to sell the land. Moving is not an option, as it would be very hard on both the people working there and the animals themselves. Because of this, ElephantsWorld wants to buy the land, for which they require 12 million THB, or around 300.000 euro.

In order to help raise this money, we are taking part in a Tube Challenge - we will aim to navigate the entirety of the London Underground network (270 stations ranging from Chesham in the North and West, Morden in the South, and Upminster in the East) in one day. This is estimated to take around 18 hours and we'll be photographing and videoing the day. After the day, every penny donated on this page will go to the "Help Save ElephantsWorld" crowdfunder on GoFundMe, and any donations received after the day will also go to this excellent cause.
