Hi All,

December 25th is fast approaching. Along with it comes the expected bundle of emotions, sentiments, and thoughts at this time of year. Many of us have so much to be thankful for.
The common denominator of all intent around this time is togetherness.

This was no different for Elizabeth.
She is an assistant manager who will form part of the management team going into the new Orpington restaurant (N394) on Friday. She was looking forward to surprising her mother with plane tickets, to fly her over from Brazil so they could spend Christmas together. Those tickets are not cheap. She managed to save up to get the cash together, and had it physically in her wallet ready to march over to the bank, and later book the tickets. Prior to doing this, she sat down to have a coffee with a friend where somebody helped themselves to her wallet. Local police caught the event on CCTV, but said they cannot be further help. Along with the stealing of her wallet, and the dream of having her mum to join her and her husband for Christmas, she also lost the only photograph of her father that she keeps in her wallet. Elizabeth is less than happy about all this as you can imagine.

An incredibly incredible Nandoca from the I.T. service desk made me aware of this situation. His name is Bobby Walsh, and he spoke to me with passion and conviction about the need to help her, even suggesting that ultimately he’d dig into his own pockets if he had to make sure her Christmas was back on track. What a guy… but that’s quite a burden for one person.

But there are so many more of us in this family.

Please help me restore his faith in what we can do here, help restore Elizabeth’s faith in having a Christmas with her mother.
