On the 1st October 2017 Emma will take part in a 7000ft skydive in aid of the RNLI Torbay Lifeboat. Emma is the Assistant branch manager of the Hays Travel branch in Torquay.
At Hays Travel we pride ourselves on working closely with our community and as such have chosen to work closely with a charity that plays such an important and vital role within it.

For nearly 140 years Torbay Lifeboat Station has operated an all-weather lifeboat and today the station also has an inshore D class lifeboat. The crews have a remarkable history of bravery with 52 awards for gallantry.
As a charity Torbay Lifeboat depend on our support to help meet the cost of saving lives at sea. Their volunteer lifesavers give their time for free, but they need training, well-maintained equipment, lifeboats and shore facilities.

Thanks to the support of brilliant people like you, our lifeboat crews and lifeguards saved 442 lives in 2015. Being an RNLI lifesaver takes huge personal commitment and sacrifice from the volunteers and you help to keep them safe by equipping them with everything they need for the demands they face. The RNLI are totally separate from the Coastguard, independent of the Government and rely on volunteers and supporters to run their lifesaving service.
