Story
Emma Jane Boyes got diagnosed with kidney, liver and lung cancer on 17th Dec 2015. Emma fought to the bitter against this devastating illness.
The specialists, friends and family were truly inspired by Emmas courageous efforts in her fight against cancer.
Emma went through numerous types of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, biopsy's and many more treatments.
Unfortunately, Emma's will power was not enough as her body failed to battle the various types of treatment given by the NHS. The cancer was too aggressive and the options available were beginning to deteriorate. Emma under the circumstances still gave her all and showed courage throughout.
Undoubtedly, although Emma did her very best in her fight against cancer, her battle was soon to be at an end. Emma decided she wanted to be moved from the hospital into her desired hospice for her final days.
Emma died peacefully, on 6th February 2017. Emmas soul lives on. She shall not be forgotten. We are all comforted to know that Emma is now at peace, pain free, free from worry and solely at rest. She continues to look down. As true fighter and inspiration to many, I would like Emmas life to live on and be remembered forever, I am therefore requesting for donations to be made in order to lay a bench in remembrance for Emma on Clent Hills near where she grew up. Clent Hills was a place Emma and her family used to go on walks and enjoy the great outdoors, with delicious bacon butties and great scenery. Having spoken with the Natinal Trust they have agreed to lay a bench for Emma in the very spot we had a picture taken. However, the bench is not free, it is kindly requested that a donation could be made to fund this, so that all who knew Emma can visit this memorable spot.
All donations made will go directly to the cost of the Memorial bench which will then go to the natinal trust. Any excess money will be evenly split between Cancer Research UK and Charlie's trust fund. All donations will be greatly appreciated .

7 years agoA great effort from everyone. Emmas bench looks great on Clent hills thank you all. Where did your money go? As promised I paid for the bench £1000, I donated £583 to Cancer research and £583 to Charlie's ISA. There is £50 left back to cover the cost of a nice plaque when Emmas family feel up to it. Thanks all again.
