A message from Ezri:

After having several falls and weakness in my legs during 2016, as well as having some speech and swallowing difficulties, I finally went to the doctors last month.

Two weeks later I had a neurology appointment and was told that I definitely have a neurological issue and it may be Motor Neurone Disease (a.k.a. ALS). It may MS.

I have a mass of tests to go through and I'm waiting on referrals from occupational health and so on.

I will be offered a wheelchair through the NHS and whilst these are wonderful, they're only really good on flat, smooth surfaces, so are limited on where they can be used.

I would really like to be able to have the all terrain Trekinetic chair pictured above, as this chair can pretty much go anywhere, including sand, mud and snow!

Users have described it as the most comfortable, easy to use and lightest chair they've ever used!!

Brand new, a basic model like the one above, is over £3500! Well worth the price, if you can afford it.

The one above is pre-owned, a fraction of the cost and the owner is holding it for only three weeks to give me the opportunity to raise the funds!

This chair will offer me the independence that I have lost in 2016!

It will mean I will not be such a burden on my family and friends and I will be able to do things for myself again, like carry my drinks and dinner, walk my wonderfully patient dog, or even just go to the shops myself!
