I am called this by 7 beautiful children. These children were cruelly taken off me by social services because my 4 year old child suffered an accident that I did not see. One of my older children did. She did what a lot of 4 year olds do...she ran into a bannister and bruised her eye. What followed next was a invasive child protection medical where if I couldn't explain where a bruise had come from it was deemed non accidental. From that night I was deemed a risk. As was my husband. Our 7 babies were removed that night I was only 2 weeks postnatal healing from a c section and taking regular pain relief. My husband suffers dyslexia. We should of been judged as too vulnerable to make an informed decision. Never was I made aware of my rights. My children beg me to come home. We have offered statements to the police 6 weeks on. We have NEVER been arrested or directly accused of inflicting the bruises. They can't because there's no PROOF just the OPINION of a doctor. That is wrong. There doesn't have to be proof beyond reasonable doubt in family courts. They Base thier judgement on heresay and opinions of social workers who's main aim seems to be child removal. My eldest RAN from contact to come home. They were ALLOWED to stay over the weekend with only 2 visits off a social worker. One visit lasted 5 min. Yet that following Monday the local authority gained a court order to remove them. Where's the right in that? Do they only pretend to care 5 days a week?
I have had families approach me with thier stories and they are horrendous. People remain blissfully unaware of how much hurt is happening in secret around them until they happen to have the unfortunate pleasure of a social worker rapping on the door. We need support to raise awareness...to help families in need of support to help bring these stolen children home
