The FIMBA GB organisation gives an opportunity for the older athlete to keep fit and healthy and helps with their physical and mental well being, especially as we continue to recover from a very difficult time for most. We champion success in the face of adversity with our regular FIMBA GB Stories, where our players share their struggles with racism, heart attacks, bullying, injuries and mental health and how basketball and FIMBA GB has supported them. The entire organisation is self funded, sending 16 teams with over 240 players to the European Championships in Italy this summer with high expectations and following our appearance on the excellent Talking Basketball podcast, we are looking for any support available to help achieve our goals.
