Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are business school students from Ulster University, Magee. For our course this year it involves our team members to work with one of the local charities within our area. The objective is to help financially fund Foyle Search and Rescue - a local charity who's sole aim is the preservation of life in and around the River Foyle. Therefore we have taken on the challenge of raising essential funds needed for the survival of this local charity who heavily dependent on donations annually. All sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will go a long way to ensure this voluntary service can continue to do an amazing job. Along side this justgiving page we have various other activities in which all members within our group have came up with.
We as a team would appreciate if everyone and anyone could donate a small amount of money to support this local charity of which who generously donate their personal time to save others.
Many thanks- James, Steven, Aoife, Alex, Matt and Eamonn.
