My mum is 49 years old and has been diagnosed with an oesophagus tumour. I have two brothers who are 25 and 17 and there is myself who is 27. Our mum has brought us up on her own as a single parent for our whole lives. My mum has never asked anyone for anything her whole life. No matter what has happened whether it be good or bad she has always stayed positive and stong and managed to help anyone who has needed the help. When my brothers and I were children our mum did what needed to be done and never complained or moaned about anything. We are asking for help to raise funds to help with a family holiday to make life long memories especially for my baby brother who is only 17. We want this holiday as a full family holiday in case things take a turn for the worse and our mum doesnt survive the operation for her tumour to be removed and if she does survive then part of the money will be used to celebrate her life. When we were growing up our mum was always the mum who was known by all our friends and their families for the caring and friendliness she showed. Our mum has always been a very strong person and always there for everyone else. We have been told the success rate from the operation is 95% which is a very good projection for an operation of this type however this operation also carries some very high risk complications. Please help us to raise funds for a possible final holiday for our mum to make ever lasting memories that will be with us a life time that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
