Next July, I will travel with a group of friends from school to Vietnam on an expedition to work on a voluntary basis for an orphanage. I will help the children learn and speak English as well as help to build new facilities. This will help me understand other cultures and teach me how to be independent. The trip is organised by Volunteers for Peace, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation.

To be able to go, I need to raise the price of my airfare, food and travelling expenses, a total of £3000. This is a huge amount, so I am breaking it down into manageable chunks and doing a different activity each month. So far I have raised over £1000. As families are coming together for Christmas, this month I have devised a family picture quiz that hopefully will be fun to do together over the holiday.
