I've raised £12000 to remember my brother Felix, and honour him by helping children overcome the loss of a parent, and pursue their sporting dreams.

Felix died suddenly last year leaving two young children, aged 14 and 12, who love their sport and find it a real source of comfort as they adjust to life without their father.
My wife, Amaryllis, and I are riding from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for a local charity, SeeSaw that has helped them deal with grief, and to establish a fund to make sure that children in Oxfordshire can find the money to carry on with their sport while they come to terms with losing the financial and moral sport of a parent.
Felix cycled from New York to San Fransico (see photo above) in his twenties and raised money for charity, so we thought it fitting to honour him in this way, and do some good for children like his.
LEJOG as it is called is a famous ride that attracts cyclists from around the world to take on our roads, weather and travel from the toe to the top, through England, Wales and Scotland- over 1000 miles in all. Of course, we hope to see some wonderful scenery and to make new friends along the way. We will take about 3 weeks to complete the ride, which starts Sunday 9 July.
