After suffering a cardiac arrest, a person’s chances of survival decreases by 10% for every minute that passes without medical help. However, having public access to an external defibrillator can drastically increase the chances of survival.

Whilst the chances of you or a loved one suffering a cardiac arrest may seem slim, there are over 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests a year. So whilst you may be one of the lucky ones, for so many people, these statistics have become their real life nightmare.

Therefore, we want to raise funds to purchase and install an external defibrillator for Kirton Church Hall. We hope you can please join us in this fundraising journey to make our community a safer place.
