My name is Finn Collins. I live in Whitstable, Kent and go to Whitstable Junior School. I am raising money to buy lip balm for homeless people. My mum and dad both work with people who are homeless so I know there are lots of reasons why this happens. My mum will help me to distribute the lip balm through the charities she knows about. She will also help me to get them included in the St Vincent De Paul Society 'Vinnie Packs' for homeless people. It is when I saw these packs that I thought about the idea. I was in the car and the Vinnie Pack was on the back seat. I had really sore lips, really burning, and it made me think that homeless people wouldn't have any lip balm to stop that. And they are outside all of the time.
My fundraising project will be called FinnBalm's Chapstick for Homeless People.
