Fledge provides accommodation, mentoring and support to equip and empower young adults (aged 18-35) to reach their potential.

Fledge is Christian charity operating in Eastleigh. We aim to nurture vulnerable and homeless young people from the Borough of Eastleigh, by providing supported housing and mentoring. Our offer of support is both holistic and long-term. Fledge’s vision is that all local young people live and develop in a safe and supported environment with the skills to achieve their potential.

Through the development of a group of founding trustees and a lot of hard work, Fledge was registered as a charity back in May 2014. They then employed some key individuals who would become an essential part of offering the support required.

We started with 1 property in 2016 and have gradually grown, leasing our latest property in 2023 which will be our sixth property and our second block of self-contained flats - taking our capacity of 26 to a capacity of 32! Meaning that we can now provide supported accommodation for up to thirty-two otherwise homeless young adults. Our landlord has been working hard to get these flats ready over the past year with the final step now being to furnish them, this is where we need your help!

It will cost around £1000 to furnish a flat and kit it out with everything it needs to be a comfortable home for someone. 

£5 will provide a resident with a toilet roll holder.

£20 will provide a resident with bedding.

A donation of £50 will provide a resident with a microwave.

A donation of £70 will provide residents with a kitchen starter set, including; bin, saucepan set, utensils, knives, baking trays, cutlery and drainer.

£100 will provide a resident with a fridge freezer.

£180 will give residents a sofa.

A donation of £260 will provide one of our residents with a double bed and mattress.

Any donation of any amount would help us to make a real difference to a homeless young adult and also any future residents in the years to come.
