Weʼve raised £1,715 to buy food for the 400 dogs & cats at Animal Rescue Kefalonia - the winter food has nearly run out & it costs 5,000 Euros / mth to feed them.

Story
Food is running out at Animal Rescue Kefalonia (http://www.animalrescuekefalonia.com/) and we urgently need your help to feed the 400 animals there (circa. 350 dogs & 50 cats).
It costs 5,000 Euros a month to feed the animals. Funds are extremely low and the winter food store is down to the last few bags. As the weather has been so bad (it has been snowing in Greece) more food has been used to feed the animals which has made the situation worse.
Please dig deep and donate whatever you can spare even if a few pounds or the cost of a coffee, it all adds up. All funds raised will be donated via the UK small charity ARK Doris UK whose purpose is to help ARK here in the UK.

7 years agoWe have just one day left to go on the campaign & we've raised £1,415 plus £555 offline so a total of £1,970 so far, thank you all so much! A big shout to our latest supporters Karen, Patricia, Growlees Dog Tags and our latest Anon supporters x We've already sent over the offline donations to ARK and that helped stock up the food store & as soon as we receive the Just Giving funds we'll be sending that too. In the pic is Arkie Mela, a sweet little dog who suffers from Leishmania a terrible disease so thank you for supporting Arkies like Mela x
