Story

Six months on and Gaza is still cut off from food, water and electricity. No ceasefire yet, and almost no humanitarian aid. Those who are seeking food for their children are met with bullets, bombs and drones.

We want to support the Food Distribution Initiative (to whom we are connected through our trusted contact Mohammad Alborno, picture below) in Rafah where 1.5 million are seeking refuge. Despite the unbearable misery and challenges, the Food Distribution Initiative has managed to build a water line and distributed food to families.

Please help us to raise £8000 to insure 100 food packages and 100 health packages can be delivered for 100 families before the Eid.

A food package costs about £40 and contains vegetables, canned food, oil...

The health package costs about £40 and includes: sanitary products, detergents, towels, nappies, soap, shampoo, wipes..

This is our second appeal to support the Food Distribution Initiative, our previous appeal raised over £2937.14 to distribute flour and vegetables to over 100 families in Rafah at the beginning of Ramadan. We had initially planned to raise $2500 to cover flour for 100 families but due to everyone’s generosity we were also able to add fresh vegetables which are very expensive and hard to come by.

We will end the collection, regardless of how much we have raised, on the 3rd of April so that we can get the funds to Muhammad before Eid.

Please share this widely, even if you aren’t able to donate! And thank you for all your contributions.

With love and solidarity,
