This is Kuba Kuncewicz.

He is part of our extended family who lives in the small town of Zlocieniec in Poland.

He was born with a myelomeningocele and many other congenital defects including Hydrocephalus, Scoliosis of the spine, the absence of a right kidney and a neurogenic bladder.
He has struggled with these diseases since birth and has already undergone countless surgeries over the course of his 16 year life. Kuba uses a wheelchair, which has made his spine curvature much worse. Scoliosis of the spine causes the displacement of internal organs and their compression.
Soon (5th March 2024) he will undergo a very serious spinal surgery aimed at straightening his spine so that his organs have enough space necessary for proper functioning.
In March 2024, my family (The Lambe's) are going to be doing some fundraising to raise money for Kuba for post-operative treatment and rehabilitation in this extremely difficult time.
Dorota will be running 100 miles during the month of March, I William will be walking 50 miles and our 6 year old son Adam will be reading 50 Childrens books.
We have set up this fund raising page on Facebook in the hope that we will get donations towards this cause. Of which every single penny will go to Kuba and his family at the end of this marathon month. We will also take any cash donations in person towards achieving this goal.
