Story
Please support us to save Ludworth park and playground, near the Windsor Castle in Marple Bridge. We love our park but it's in need of a refresh and is no longer being funded by the Council.
We want to
improve the play ground for younger children and teenagers
enhance the beautiful natural habitat by creating homes for birds, mammals and insects, and by planting a wildflower meadow and a community orchard.
provide improved seating and better facilities for adults
create a space for environmental education through nature trails and nature noticeboards
We have over 100 members of our Friends Group. They represent local residents, our local schools and a range of local community groups. All of whom will benefit from saving Ludworth Park which has been in existence for over 80 years.
Thank you very much for your support. Our friends group meets regularly, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more or get involved.

This park has so much potential, with a bit of planning and TLC it could be a great haven for all. I'm sure that you will drum up the support and funds to keep the park a part of our community. 🍀
