Our 2nd family fun day was a great success with even more stalls and games for all ages to enjoy. We raised £1500 on the day with donations still coming in….a fantastic achievement. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, to all the business and services who provided great attractions and to all the visitors on the day. We couldn’t have done it without you! So far, our partnership with South Lanarkshire Council has created three new wildlife areas, a fairy garden for younger visitors to the park, improved seating, new litter bins, safer pathways and community events. Membership of our community group has doubled recently. In the future we are working in partnership to improve play and exercise facilities in the park, cycle and pedestrian access and will be planting 450 trees later this year.
