Story

WE DID IT!!!

Kat and Pip have set themselves the challenge of walking from Four Marks to Farnham along St Swithun‘s Way - that’s 20 miles all in one day! Now might be the time to dust off the walking boots!!!

Why are we committing to such madness I hear you ask? We are unashamedly asking for sponsorship to raise funds towards refurbishing the sensory space - known as The Hub - at St Mary’s Primary School Bentworth - where we proudly work.

We go the extra mile for our children, not just focussing on basic education, but also emotional literacy, resilience and for those with sensory needs, we have a safe space for them to regulate. This area is referred to as The Hub and is somewhere the kids love to go, but it is really looking very tired now. Also, we have grand plans to use the space more to help more children regulate as part of the normal school day.

We need to raise money to fund exciting new equipment and resources. Don‘t get me started on how little money there is given to educating our children. Needless to say it leaves us having to come up with crazy ideas to generate the cash.

So that‘s how we have ended up asking you to donate kindly to our hairbrained challenge of walking 20 miles cross country this summer holiday.

Thanks for your donations!!!
