- Funded on Wednesday, 17th July 2024

Story
Much-loved GDL player Mark Marlow recently lost his beloved wife, Julie. Julie was a fantastic lady and had great character. I was only lucky enough to meet Julie once, however, it was very clear to me that they both had a world of love for each other.
We are running a competition on gdl180.com in Julie's memory to support Mark during this difficult time and help him with necessary costs.
The competition goes entirely against the GDL M.O., but let's have some fun!
It will be a completely open competition in terms of gradings and the bracket will be randomly drawn. Can the minnows bring down the giants? Let's see!
The minimum donation required to enter is £5 but if you can afford more, please feel free to donate more! Doesn't mean you'll be given an easier section of the draw though :)
To enter the competition:
Make your donation here and screenshot it. Please use your own name. Nothing silly and no anonymous donations, please, unless you don't plan on entering the comp.
Visit gdl180.com/julie and enter the competition, attaching your screenshot as proof of the entry fee.
Note that this is only for full GDL members. If you're going through your Mentorship right now, you'll only be able to play if you've completed that before the entry deadline.
The entry deadline is Thursday 4th April and the deadline for Round 1 will be Tuesday 9th April.
All proceeds (minus Just Giving costs) will go directly to Mark.
