Here at the Gables Racing Club we are lucky to have such committed loyal youngsters who work in all weathers, work unsociable hours, driving long distances to tend to our dogs needs when at kennel or when racing. It really is not just put a lead on the dog and the rest does its self, these girls and boys look after these dogs like athletes!! For those of you who know, even On Christmas day when we are tucking into our turkey and beers they will still be working, up at 5am and home at 2pm, and maybe extra work to prepare one of ours for a big run on Boxing Day!! It would be lovely if everyone could contribute even a little something to say a huge thank you and merry Christmas to them all. There is no set amount but a donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.......they deserve to have some extra money in their pocket at Xmas and we get so much enjoyment out of all their hard work so why not stick a couple quid in for us to present to them on the last Sunday before Xmas day 18th December....
