We are wanting to raise money for Gails funeral to help her family give her the send off she truly deserves.

In July 2022 Gail found out she had metastatic colorectal carcinoma. In September 2023 Gail underwent major surgery to remove the cancer where she spent weeks in Basingstoke Hospital. Hoping to spend her 50th birthday at home with her family, Gail ended up in hospital due to infections.
In the last 18 months Gail had chemotherapy twice before multiple infections, VRE, Sepsis (four times) prevented Gail from continuing her treatments regularly. This led to Gail's cancer spreading to her lungs, bones, lymp nodes and eventually the liver.

We were told Gail still had many treatment options available, giving her and her family hope; Until last week when we were sadly informed Gail only had months, if not weeks left. This then rapidly changed to days, devasting Gail, and her family.
Gail sadly gained her wings after her courageous fight with cancer, at 7.57am on the 14th February 2024 at Glenfield hospital, Leicester, surrounded by her family.
Due to the unexpected progression of Gail's cancer, the family have not had time to put any plans in place for the send off Gail deserves.
Gail has made a massive impact on so many people's lives, throughout the football community and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Putting everyone before herself, its now our turn to give back to her.
