George Gilbey who sadly passed away on 27th March 2024 aged 40 in tragic accident. Most people knew George from Gogglebox and celeb big brother and a lot of people knew him from doing charity events mostly football games.

a few of us have got the idea to do a charity memorial and tribute game and events day to celebrate our dear friend George’s life and remember the kind hearted man we have lost but not forgotten ❤️

myself Darren have seen Linda (George’s mum) and after discussing and realising there is a lot of people who can not attend for all sorts of reasons but would like to donate.

we are raising money for his daughters future as this is why George was always out grafting to make a future for his Little Girl.

also it will be going to various charities mostly Parkinson’s as Linda has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. We would also like to get a tree planted which his daughter will do.

George was the life and soul of wherever he was and those who knew him personally know exactly what I mean.

this was a way for us to (well all of us to remember George) and celebrate his life.

He would have loved this. This is for him and us for all to come together and remember our dear friend! Brother and son.

saturday 24th August

gates open 12pm and football starts at 2pm and we will also have music and dance acts in the evening with hopefully finishing the night of with candles and fireworks and words from a few of his friends and family.
