My name is Georgia and I'm 15 years old. I am trying to raise as much money as possible to support projects that help rural villages and wildlife in Ecuador.

The people of Ecuador need our help because 25% of children there have no access to education and are malnourished. As well as this, an area the size of Spain is lost to deforestation each year in the Amazon and help is needed to protect the new species that are often being found.

In 2018 I hope to be able to work as a volunteer on one of these projects by doing things like building new classrooms for schools, helping improve sanitation and installing new water facilities so that the villagers have fresh drinking water.

I would also be involved with planting food trees for bears and helping to find ways of minimising the huge problem of wildlife poaching in the area.

I would love the chance to make a difference to the lives of people who are less fortunate and would appreciate any donations, however small, to help those in need in Ecuador.
