***UPDATE*** Thanks to everyones support and kind donations, dad is now back in the UK. He is in hospital and receiving the treatment and rehabilitation he needs. We have withdrew the donated money - but can not shut the page down until the 09/06/24. Thank you all again for your kindness🩷

Feels surreal that we are writing this, but unfortunately we are in a situation where we need to ask for help.

A week ago, our dad fell whilst on holiday in Spain, hitting his head and causing multiple bleeds on the brain which required him to need emergency brain surgery. Since the surgery he has been in an induced coma on an intensive care ward.

Unfortunately, the insurance will not cover the medical costs for treatment from the hospital or the cost of getting him home.

Our family and close friends have done all we can and managed to cover some of the initial hospital bill.

To get him home we need a medical flight which costs £35,000 upfront, something we are unable to pay by ourselves.

Anyone who knows my dad, knows what a character he is - how strong and stubborn he is, but also so loving and full of life.

Asking for support in this way is not something that feels comfortable, but unfortunately it is what we need to do. Any contributions that can be made will be appreciated so much and will help to get our dad home, which is all we want.
