The aim of this project is to provide young Ghanaians with an opportunity to learn a martial art and gain an education at the same time. This way they will receive schooling and will be provided the means to earn their livelihood later on. This is hugely important as many Ghanaian families can't afford it financially to send their children to school.
P.U.M.A. (Professional Unification of Martial Arts), a UK martial arts organisation, has been supporting Mr Mahadi's martial arts school in Accra, Ghana for over 10 years. Thanks to many fundraising activities the ground floor of the school building and the dojang (training hall) could be completed, but the first floor and the roof are still incomplete as can be seen on the picture. Once the 15 rooms on the top floor and the library are finished, the school will be able to accommodate students and instructors to further their education and help them build their future. Please support this cause which will give many young Ghanaians the chance for a brighter future!
