Gi and Dee take Ben Nevis !

Mental health and suicide ratings in the UK are currently at the their highest. Sadly, in December of last year, a very special person took his life, Sam Ashe. Sam was our courageous, happy and hilariously funny childhood friend since the start of our school years, and a boyfriend to Georgia for many. He was the most selfless honest person we knew, his ability to be a kind hearted friend to absolutely anyone was truly inspirational. The pain of loosing Sam will stay with us forever, but knowing Sam so well i know he'd want us to be sticking together, and making a change.

Shortly after the devastating event took place, Sam's father, Wayne created a charity called '19' in the hopes of raising money for the awareness of mental health. This is obviously now a charity that the both of us will continuously support. The company Sam worked for 'CMB engineering' his family, myself and Georgia on the first weekend of June, we will be climbing the largest mountain in the British Isles. We have both put a lot of our time and efforts into training for this event, we'd be very grateful if you could kindly donate as little or as much in order to support us. Whether you have suffered with mental illness yourself, know someone who's battling it or like us, you have experienced the aftermath of suicide, many people have been touched by the topic and without charities such as "19" who are trying so hard to fight the negative stigmas, ratings of mental health and suicide will only increase.
