Weʼve raised £670 to fund the Centre for Women's Justice
- Funded on Tuesday, 8th August 2017
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
On the 8th of July we're going to run the RunThrough Regents Park 10k to raise money for the Centre for Women's Justice.
The Centre for Women's Justice is a charity which looks to advance the human rights of women and girls in England and Wales by holding the state to account for failures to prevent violence against women and girls, and by challenging discrimination against women and girls in the criminal justice system.
The Centre is run by women who have already made a huge impact on women's rights in the UK - for example holding the police to account for their treatment of women in the John Warboys case and in the targeting of women for relationships by undercover officers.
With on-going attacks on human rights the need for this kind of strategic legal work is only growing - please donate if you can.

Thank you so much to you all for supporting us! We're super grateful. Funds are being processed at the moment and will help a really small and really important charity as it is just starting out.
