Here at Give Back Peterborough we are committed to helping the local community. One area in particular that needs ongoing help is the Peterborough food bank.

Food banks are set up all over the country to support families and individuals in need of food. Over 1 million people a year use food banks! Thats a massive 2700 people a day.

This is a statement from Peterborough food bank :

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK

With the money donated Give back Peterborough go and buy vital essential and take them down to the Food bank ready for distribution.

I think its important to remember anyone at anytime might need to use a food bank and no-one should go hungry especially when so many of us are throwing food away,

All help, love and support is appreciated lets make Peterborough a better place and show our community support.
