Story

We have started a scheme to help young teens with a range of mental health issues, ranging from minor to suicidal, and given them an outlet to use through playing golf.
This includes lessons with a pga professional, access to top facilities and golf courses to play.
So far we have helped several children, and
after the success we have had, we now want to help more.
This step into sport gives an outlet they would not have access to, gives them support from others in similar situations, builds confidence and resilience through golf.
We provide and pay for every thing from fees, equipment, clothing, lessons and more.

This is not cheap to do, and we fund raised for half the cost previously through sponsored events, sales and more, and this is what we aim to do now.

The £6000 target will allow us to help 10 more children over the next year, thanks to the support of the professionals, golf clubs and people who give their time to help, without whom this just would not be possible.

One boy we started to help last year was severely bullied for his issues, now he plays golf, has had lessons and made friends, he has reached the top three in four competitions, and is hoping to develop a career in golf.
This help goes further than a quick fix. It really is changing the lives of these young people.

Thank you for reading, and your support would mean the world.

Thank you
