    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

After seeing so many people helped through charities, it’s always made me wonder about those that don’t get thanked. That faithful volunteer who gives up every single Friday to tend to cancer patients, that mother who gives up her afternoons to be a lollypop lady because the paid one is on holiday. That brother who cares for his sibling despite his disability. It’s these unsung heroes, the ones that don’t fall into a ‘charity’ category that go un-noticed and more importantly, un-thanked.

Ever since I started my Good Deed Diary I vowed to help other people. Doing a random act of kindness everyday for a year - selflessly giving to others to make their day a little brighter. Fast forward 2 years - and I have witnessed and experienced so much kindness that it can almost take your breath away; so many people wanting to help others out - simply because they can.
After visiting and helping over 45 charities last year I realised there are so many people that just don't get thanked.

Through my blog - The Good Deed Diary, where I have over 50,000 followers, I will open up nominations for individuals who deserved to be thanked.

Myself and a small team will then review each application and small gifts will then be selected and delivered to those individuals who deserve to be thanked for their selfless dedication to others.

You can see where the money is being spent on my blog (The Good Deed Diary) and see the reactions from those inspirational people.

The money will be spent on saying 'Thank You' to people who go above and beyond in their community.
Would you donate money for a bunch of flowers to be sent to the mother who cares for her dying child?
Would you donate money for 2 cinema tickets for the brother who cares for his disabled sibling?
And would you donate money for a meal out for that faithful volunteer who has helped so many lives?

Each person shall be nominated through my blog and the money used to buy small gifts.

My name is Luke Cameron and I am the blogger of the viral blog "The Good Deed Diary'. We lost Maura from cancer back in 2013, a woman who had 5,000 people attend her funeral. This fund continues her legacy - giving back to those un-sung heroes who make this world a better place.
