I've raised £5000 to donate to a local hospice by tandem sky diving alongside my son Adam and daughter Emily.

As some of you may be aware I was diagnosed in March with the nasty cancer which is now progressed to the point where the end is in sight.
My moto for my whole life has been 'Sempre Avanti ' (Always foward), With that in mind, why not one last stupid gesture to raise money for our local hospice which helps people like me find a peaceful end and provides comfort and support for the entire family?.
On Tuesday 10th September myself and son and daughter will jump out of a plane at 12,000 ft doing a tandem sky dive. My lovely wife Susan very wisely will have her feet on terra firma trying to get photos of tiny dots in the sky, that doubtless she will post on her Facebook page.If you feel kind and generous enough to donate to a 69 yr old fools last hurrah, then please give what you can. I know that times are tight but anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
We are having to do this quite quickly as my condition is deteriorating a lot quicker than any of us would like. Be assured that every penny, after we have covered the cost of the jump will go to the wonderful St Leonards Hospice in York.
My very warmest wishes and thanking you in advance Gordie Kane
