Hi, I'm Grace Cuddy and I have been selected for a trip with Girl Guiding Bucks to go to Girl Guiding world center, Our Cabaña, in Mexico. My trip is in the summer of 2018 and I can't wait. Part of the criteria of this trip is that I must raise my own funds to go on this fantastic experience. To fund raise, I am attending local Christmas fairs and selling loads of Christmas crafts, including Tea-light Snowmen and edible reindeer noses. I am doing a sponsored swim and am also writing a book which I hope to finish and edit by Christmas 2017, along with bake sales, household chores, and helping neighbors and friends were I can. I am honored to have been picked for such a wonderful opportunity and I am ready to do whatever it takes to get there.
My hobbies include baking and badminton, along with a complete Harry Potter obsession. I am 13 years old and will be 14 when I go on this trip. I am going with 7 other Girl Guides who are all trying as hard as me to get there, as well as our fantastic leader, Shan.
On Sunday 13th November, I am doing a sponsored swim, expecting to do 70 lengths in one hour.
