Absolutely disgusted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel right now. My cousin took my 88 year old Great Uncle to a barber shop on Prescot Rd in Old Swan. He's broken his elbow and is just out of hospital. £100 in cash was dropped on the floor without my cousin & great uncle realising they'd lost it. A member of staff came over and brushed up near to where they were and when my cousin realised about the money, they all denied any knowledge and were sniggering and laughing when she asked where the money was. Disgraceful and shameful. Charming way to treat a Veteran, especially on Armistice Day :-(
I've created this page to try to replace the money. My great Uncle is very upset over it and they both felt so helpless and victimised because of the horrible actions of these nasty, cruel, selfish people.
The target says £200 as that's the minimum amount I was allowed to put in.
Thanks so much to anybody who contributes to this, it will mean so much xx
