Story
Dear Reader
After completing Tough Mudder Half in 2016, the team returns to compete Tough Mudder Full but now instead of 8 our team has increased to 16. After completing Tough Mudder in the morning 2 team members will continue on to the London Shine Night Walk. Always great to see new volunteers taking lead and attempting new challenges.
The donations obtained from the events will be split between the causes we support namely Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Little Havens Hospice.
Or directly to the following bank:
Account number - 92306980
Sort code - 40 01 13
With zero overhead and internal admin fees a very little can go a very long way, we'll make sure of it.
Happy to Help Background -
Our current small but dedicated team behind the fund have done a fantastic job so far since establishing in December 2013 raising more than £53,000 for a number of causes including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Help for Heroes and Delete Blood Cancer. We are now focusing on growing the organisation worldwide having completed projects in UK, US, China, Peru and Tanzania. The donations primarily are used to buy Fabian machines, a piece of equipment which is used to make it easier for babies to breathe so that they can relax and sleep without difficulty during their treatment.
We encourage volunteers to identify other areas where we can help and have further developed relationships with The Anthony Nolan Trust, Help for Heroes, Little Havens Hospice for Children and schools in Punjab, India. I am proud to announce our academy has been successfully running since June 2016 whereby we support 132 children funding tuition fees for exams and providing basic equipment in books, pencils and erasers. The academy was set up to provide children with educational support having lost family members due to the ongoing drug issue in Punjab and some are still facing the tragic backlash of 1984.
We would like to make as many young adults, professionals and organisations aware of Happy to Help, and believe that we as a community worldwide can increase the exposure to the fund and our team primarily to inspire others to join in, or to donate and support.
Your donation will help us continue our work with Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Anthony Nolan, Little Havens Hospice in addition to providing education to children in India with the vision to expand further into Peru and Africa.
Thank you for reading and please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely
The Happy To Help Team
