Story
Harry Sievey was a talented musician who said 'don’t copy anyone just do something that’s true to you'. Harry's music showed that he was very definitely doing his own thing. It's with this in mind that Danny his friend and Asher his sister contacted us to offer donations in place of funeral flowers. We hope that the following information about Reform Radio helps to explain how your donation will honour the musical talent, ambition, passion and independent, creative thinking of Harry Sievey.
Reform Radio is an online radio station and Community Interest Company that supports young adults into employment. Launched in 2013, we’ve grown a team of incredible local DJs, writers, producers and artists who deliver live as well as on demand digital content around the clock. This provides us with engaging material to structure our creative workshops and digital programmes on, supporting individuals as they develop transferrable skills to take with them into future careers.
Our Vision
We want all young adults within Greater Manchester to have the opportunity to realise their full potential.
Our Mission
To achieve our vision we’re increasing capacity and therefore access to meaningful opportunities within Reform Radio and the wider world, inspiring young adults to take ownership of their future.
We aim to build the brand of Reform Radio to make all young people aware of these opportunities and so the organisation can achieve financial and environmental sustainability.
We will continue to ensure the good practice in all of our work and opportunities whilst responding to changing social needs of young people as we strive to meet our vision.
Values
- Community
It’s at the heart of Reform Radio – a belief in, and love for, the community around us.
- Collaboration
The more minds, voices, ears the better.
- Creativity
We love to make things – new shows, new workshops, new connections.
