Story

My boyfriend has ended up homeless because of a mental health crisis combined with his abusive family. We're bouncing between places at the moment while we try and sort out money. He is mentally ill, autistic, disabled, gay and trans. I know that doesn't matter and homelessness is homelessness but I wanted to give the full picture of how vulnerable we are since we're both in the same situation. I'm staying with him to make sure he is safe as the psychiatric hospital will not admit him because he is "so young to throw his life away by being admitted". He cannot be left alone and as such we need a place for us both to stay until he has a flat.

I'm paying for all I can right now but between my own bills... It's difficult. My boyfriend doesn't have control of his own money, his abusive mother does. We're currently trying to sort this out. (and yes, he is 18+). Until then I have to find a way to pay for everything when my rent to my parents is £400 a month and my therapy is £280 a month, I don't have much left. We're staying somewhere that's £50 a night and for the next few weeks (excluding when staying on friends couches) that's about £1,000 for February alone and I do NOT even have that in savings. We are incredibly desperate here, and have nowhere else to turn.

I hate asking for help but we can't afford not to. Anything will help.
