I am trying to raise money for our local hedgehog welfare.This is run by volunteers, who usually work and care for hedgehogs in their spare time.

This year we have used the rescue for 4 baby hedgehogs that we found poorly in our garden in the daytime. They were underweight, cold and dehydrated. One came back to our garden after weeks of care with the rescue staff. We called him Herbie and released him back into the wild successfully. One baby unfortunately passed away and the other two are still being bottle feed by staff.

Some of the staff bottle feed the baby hedgehogs every few hours.

The Welfare relies on fundraising and donations to pay for vet bills, medicines food, hutches etc.. Food costs just for 3 months is estimated to be over £300.

I have grown very fond of these beautiful creatures and we have 4 that regularly visit our garden.

I just want to help give something to keep a great welfare going. And to support the great people that help the hedgehogs in need
