This crowdfund is to help the families of our colleagues who were seriously injured in a recent road crash in Glasgow, whilst on duty. The guys were out doing their day job in the best way they could. On a daily basis colleagues are put in harm's way without a thought for themselves but when this harm is realised we, as a wider family, should show our support.

This has not been asked for by the families. Those behind it want to assist with travel, hotel and any other expenses our colleagues' families have during the long road of recovery ahead. We want that stress to be reduced. Critical incidents do not only impact on those injured but take a tremendous toll on the physical and mental wellbeing of all connected. Families are at the fore front of this and it is our hope your kind donation can reduce day to day stresses so that all efforts can be directed to help their loved ones who are our friends and colleagues.

I wish to personally thank you for taking the time to consider this appeal. Its worth is undoubted and enables all who contribute to show their support and concern. I have been suitably vague in the details surrounding the cause of the injuries as I do not want the privacy of our colleagues and their families to be impacted at this time or in the future.
