I'm raising £10000 to help the cats and kittens of Cyprus. We are entering kitten season and need to support those who find them abandoned.

Story

For anyone familiar with Cyprus, you‘ll know that there are many cats on the island. Already in May 2024, rescuers of cats and kittens are struggling to help those in need. Cats are simply everywhere and in high numbers. Those who help cats do so voluntarily and are struggling financially and emotionally. This is a plea for donations to help the people who help the voiceless and vulnerable felines that live in the streets and beaches. Specifically the tourist resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras. The government does not provide veterinary care nor does it fund it. Rescuers are fire fighting every day- trying to neuter cats, feed dozens of homeless cats and rescue those ill, injured or vulnerable, as well as assist tourists who want to help or adopt cats.

At Project Paw Cyprus, we support the backbone of Cyprus animal rescue, the rescuers. Please, lets keep them going by giving them hope through donations via this page. Right now, emergencies are a daily occurrence, newborn abandoned kittens, pregnant cats, injured cats. It is simply out of control.

If a donation is unable to be given, please give cats in resorts fresh water, as well as food if you can.

Thank you for anything you can give. Find us on Facebook to see how we support the cats and their rescuers😻
