My Dad, Julian Caruso, a well known entertainer and hypnotherapist has been fighting cancer for almost two years now but with your help we could get him back on his feet and have him with us for many more years to come. He needs to receive the best possible treatment through trials and specialist health care and with your help that's what he will get.

For the past 12 months, the hospital have been struggling to manage several infections which have become so bad they are unable to continue his chemotherapy treatments which he urgently needs. We have reached the point where the hospital believes there is no further course of treatment. However, we, his family/friends and most importantly he himself have not given up on his hope for a full recovery.

To that end, we would like to seek further opinions privately on his overall condition and get him well enough to return home which is always the warmest and best place to be when recovering. He's a true fighter and is determined not to give in to this harsh disease. While he will be needing several operations and chemotherapy further down the line, we desperately need to get him cleared of the infections that keep reoccurring in the current hospital environment.

We believe that support from a new hospital followed by healthcare at home in the community must be the best approach to his care. Given the Royal Stoke Hospital/NHS are unwilling to provide support for this new approach we have no choice but to try and fund this ourselves.

Julian, in his line of work as a hypnotherapist for over 40 years, has been privileged enough to help many clients and friends to overcome big obstacles and issues in their daily lives and is now in-turn in need of help from others to get him through his ordeal.
